For the past few years, I have been involved in church ministry as a keyboard player and a Sunday school teacher. At first, I only wanted to help because there were not enough volunteers. However, as time went by, these ministries became an important part of my life. Through them, I learned valuable lessons about responsibility, patience, and how to share God’s love with both the congregation and the children. Every week brought new experiences that strengthened my desire to serve.

One memorable experience happened when I played the keyboard for the main Sunday service for the first time. I was nervous because I had to play alongside a worship team that was already very experienced. After several practices and encouragement from the team members, I began to feel more confident. During the service, everything went smoothly, and many people appreciated the music. That moment convinced me that the talent God gave me could truly bless others.

Besides playing the keyboard, I also serve as a Sunday school teacher. This ministry gives me a completely different experience. Teaching children requires patience, creativity, and the ability to communicate in simple ways. Every week, I prepare Bible stories, games, and activities that make learning enjoyable for the kids. Although they can be difficult to manage at times, their enthusiasm makes everything worth it. There was a moment when a child approached me after class and said, “Teacher, today’s story was fun. I want to read my Bible again at home.” Hearing that touched my heart deeply.

Through serving as a keyboard player and a Sunday school teacher, I have learned that ministry is not only about skills but also about a willing heart. Many small but meaningful moments continue to encourage me to stay committed. These experiences have brought me closer to God and helped shape my character. I now understand that ministry is a journey of growth that continues throughout life.
